Dr. Travis Hayes Folk grew up around his father’s land business, where he developed a love of maps and hunting. Now a wildlife biologist, Travis is also the founder of New World Cartography. His company hand draws maps in a traditional style for discerning clients.

We talk about raising children in the same woods he grew up in, and the cultural and environmental importance of managing rice impoundments in South Carolina.
